Tom Wahl’s is a staple in the Avon community. It’s 1950’s diner feel will have you feeling like you just got transported back in time. People of all ages travel to try their Wahlburger’s, frosted mug filled with their handcrafted root beer, and crispy fries.
Before you go ahead and pick a seat, head over to the jukebox and choose a song for the whole restaurant to listen to.
The Wahlburger
The Wahlburger is a specialty and consists of a patty, ham, swiss cheese, lettuce, and the famous wahl sauce served on a soft sesame bun. The sauce makes everything better. It is something you have to try, even if it’s just to dip your fries in.
The Root Beer
Root beer is pretty standard and there doesn’t seem to be much you could do to it to make it unique. Well Tom Wahl’s handcrafted root beer is unlike anything you have had before. It definitely tastes like root beer but sweeter. It makes regular root beer seem not so good. If you feel like getting crazy head over to the ice cream parlor and order yourself a root beer float, during happy hour floats are $1.99.
The Fries
Fries are just fries right? Wrong.
Tom Wahl’s fries are always crispy. I don’t know what they do to them but there is not a time you order fries and are disappointed. They are regular crinkle cut fries but they hold that crispy crunch in every bite.
