The absolute cutest donut shop you will find is located in Strip District, PA. It’s called Peace Love & Little Donuts. We had only heard of it because some people at the next table over from us at Pamela’s Diner were talking about going there next, so naturally we had to ask where it was.
It has a whole hippie atmosphere to the store and is located right in the strip. As you look in from the outside you can see the mass amounts of different donuts they have daily called Funkadelics as well as their story.
Peace Love & Little Donuts was not intended to be little donuts. The owners wanted the donuts to be normal sized but the machine would not make them that big, it would only make the smaller ones, so that’s what they did. The small ones are the PERFECT SIZE. The donuts come loaded up with toppings and fillings, to where if they were bigger you would only want one. Having them smaller you can taste many flavors and finish them too without all the guilt. The donuts are made fresh and right in front of you. When you get them they are warm and ready to dig into.
As you walk into the shop you are greeted with a FREE donut. Which is amazing to say the least. Then you get to pick your donut flavors and combos and watch the magic happen before your eyes. My favorite that I tried would have to be French Toast. It has a cinnamon sugar frosting, powdered sugar, and strawberry to top it off.
