SunnyD is now for both adults and kids!
Where are my 90’s SunnyD loving kids at? The SunnyD Vodka Seltzer was something I’ve been trying to get my hands on now since it came to stores. Finally I was able to try one on the lake the other day.
Seltzers are never what you expect them to be. There is usually always just a hint of flavor, nothing overwhelming that’s for sure. So I was skeptical at how much these SunnyD seltzers were going to taste like SunnyD.
To answer that question, not much. Lol. These tasted like an orange seltzer. A very light orange flavor that was all. A disappointment for sure. We’d be better off using regular SunnyD as a mixer, now that’s something I can get behind.
I’m not saying it was bad but not what I expected it to be. SunnyD always had a matte texture to it if that makes sense. After you take a sip and your teeth rub together they feel funny. With these seltzers that happened too! I don’t enjoy that nails on the chalk board feeling after my teeth rub together but it was the same as regular SunnyD.
It was very light and easy to drink, only 95 calories and 0g sugar. A great alternative to more sugary alcoholic beverages.
Next time though I will be bringing my SunnyD and alcohol separately to mix together that way!
